I'm afraid, no, all "standard" chars from a-z and 0-9. Even tested  
with Password = "abcedefghi" on both sides. Nothing.

Did that, nothing diffrent or anything i would get a clue out of it.

This is set to permissive by default on etch/4.0, even disabled SEL  
without any
change in behaviour.
