Hi folks, 

In case you want to the keep the data in the defective volume for the
duration of the volume's recycle lifetime (theoretically, you could
still extract jobs from it using bscan, for instance), you can also
update the volume status to "used" so bacula will automatically
recycle it as it usually would when it's time to do so.
