Then you decided you'd move the volumes from one storage device to the 
other manually :-)

Either they choose to keep volumes assigned to each storage device 
(different media types) or they move media (shared media type).

Actually, if you'd call it a limitation of Bacula, I'd agree.

How do you ensure that physical drive is never used by two jobs at the 
same time?
