James,
First of all, thanks so much for the lovely drop in BackupPC! That's even easier than Linux package install!
BackupPC came up running and ready to go after I installed it from MacPorts. My only problem is, I want to use a 1T external drive for the pool. While BackupPC finds the HFS+ internal drive fine, when I format the external drive to HFS+, everything is owned: -unknown:-unknown and BackupPC fails it's startup check for a useful filesystem and aborts.
How can I format that external drive so that BackupPC can use it?
Thanks in advance,
James
