Hi Craig and everyone
Hopefully the attachment will get to you
Basically what seems to be happening is that everything runs fine up to a point

then in the xfer log we get fatial error <snip 1> shows the end of the
xfer log file, now I have turned up loogging to see if I could see
something occurring in this, but nothing is showing, I was hoping to
use backuppc to back up to 40 machines, and then probably more, but I
was testing before role out so I'm a little disappointed. The logs
dont seem to give any more than this. I have seen
mention of this in other forums where they recommend a chkdisk, but I
can really ask 40 users to run chkdisk on there systems.

<snip 2> shows the top of the log file, jsut so you can see the job
that I am running.
<snip 3> show the log from the host, which is the same in the backup server log

Backup pc version is:
3.1.0-3ubuntu2.1 (intrepid-updates)
Samba is
2.3.2.3-lubuntu3.6

Thanks in advance
Pat
