Hi,

I'm new to BackupPC but it seems to be just what I need. I only have one question: if I create the backup to an external HDD and the server machine - which has BackupPC installed - breaks down how can I restore the data on the external HDD? As I see it is compressed and if I plug it to another machine I can not restore the data from it.
