I have problems with a lot of drivers on 64bit. I have had too be a little bit picky on hardware selection, usually building my own servers with Tyan hardware as they seem to do a good job of choosing 64bit linux friendly hardware(HP, and Dell are ok too).
I have to say that 64bit linux is much more widely supported than 64bit windows. I actually have to run a small cluster of win2k3 remote desktop servers because I can't put enough RAM in for my application in a 32bit machine and 2k3 64bit sucks b*lls and wont run my app, nore my database connector. My RDP servers just sit there practically idle CPU-wise but have high RAM usage.
64bit linux has some issues with RAID hardware, as well as both the HP Powermonitor for a rackmount UPS and an APC unit. I can run the 32bit versions but also have to have some 32bit libraries and run those apps with some fancy scripting to get everything going.
I had some issues with some video input card drivers with 64bit for a zonealarm server but got that worked out, just needed a patch to get the drivers to compile on 64bit. I find that 64bit linux allows me to get 20-30% better performance out of this zonealarm server(dual operteron dual core) after recompiling a few things for 64bit, 64bit is very good for multiple stream video encoding.

I haven't had any problems with servers. Desktops are another case, with
still no 64-bit Flash plugin and no 64-bit Java plugin and things like that.
