What version of Amanda are you using? What is the value of the config
parameter "usetimestamps"?
Can you run:
amrestore /Data/amanda/amanda-hold/20080416190001/xxx._raid0.0
Did it successfully retrieve it?
apparently i have no problem to retrieve it .... but the process is in
progress
