Hi Dustin,

        now it's really getting wierd...
As I wrote one message before, I could not compile 2.5.2p1 on my
tapeserver and posted the error message. 2.5.1p1 did compile fine.

Now I tried to compile 2.5.1p1 also on my clients (same configure
options) and I get the SAME error message for 2.5.1p1(!) on all my
clients as for 2.5.2p1 on the server. (It goes without saying, that
2.5.2p1 does also not compile on the clients).

My clients have different setups. They are all running on i386 Ubuntu
Linux, some of them on 5.10, some on 7.04. But they all have this
problem. So, it looks like the tapeserver is special in a way I've not
yet figured out...
