This is just WOL (Word Of List - rather than word of mouth)
as I've never had a dual drive library.

- you can run two separate amanda configs
- assign each config one of the drives
- assign each config a separate group of slots
- if there is a chance that amdump for both configs
  will be running at the same time, do NOT split
  clients between the two configs, i.e. all DLEs for
  a particular client must be in the same config
- if you are backing up through a firewall and thus
  have compiled with configure options like
  --with-tcp-range=xxx-yyy, you may have to have
  two sets of amanda binaries, one for each config
  with different ranges.
