What I said was a combination of scenario 6 (iii) but with
easier case of using "amrestore" instead of "dd", as explained in
scenario 1.
The use of restore/tar to extract individual files is supposed to
be already known by a System Administrator.
And, rule number 1, it helps to practice restoring before disaster
really strikes.
