Looks good, Matt, but how about adding a specific example of changing the --with-user config option since that is commonly done (and gave me trouble). Since Debian (and maybe others???) uses the backup user instead of the amanda user, it is not possible AFAIK to use the rpm without changing the --with-user option.


Well, I'm not sure anyone would be using RPMs on Debian, but it's definitely
a good point. I'll expand on that section a little bit.

No, I meant that if you are running the server on Debian and you have some Red Hat clients, you'll run into a problem. Again AFAIK.
