May not be exactly the info you seek, but in a survey in April 2003,
6 installations reported total disk capacity of
client and servers between 2000 and 5000 GB
5 installations reported total data stored on
client and servers between 1000 and 4000 GB
3 installations reported the size of their
average daily backup was between 300 and 700 GB
4 installations reported the number of client
hosts that were backed up was 60 to 70 hosts
These represent the highest numbers reported in the survey.
There were a number of very large sites that are known
users of amanda that chose not to participate in the survey.
