Have a look on that host in the files named /tmp/amanda/sendsize.DATETIME.debug
to see if there are any obvious errors.

Notice how long it takes: the last line contains a timestamp
and the total time in seconds.

Then make sure that the "etimeout" parameter in amanda.conf is set
at that big.  (Note "etimeout" is the average time for one disk;
a host with three DLE's times out after 3*etimeout.)
