Hi there,

I am using amanda to backup several hosts. amcheck runs fine, reporting
no errors. However, the report of the dump says otherwise. From 6 hosts
one host always times out with amdump NOT amcheck.

Here are relevant parts of the amdump.1:

<snip>

setting up estimates for www:/etc
www:/etc overdue 2 days for level 0
setup_estimate: www:/etc: command 0, options:
    last_level 0 next_level0 -2 level_days 0
    getting estimates 0 (2410) 1 (0) -1 (-1)

...

got result for host file disk /home/cvs: 0 -> 828890K, 1 -> 2840K, -1 -> -1K
error result for host www disk /etc: Request to www timed out.

...

FAILED QUEUE:
  2: www        /etc
DONE QUEUE:
  9: file       /home/cvs

...

</snip>

The backup server is a debian Linux (VERSION="Amanda-2.4.2p2) and the
host to be backuped is a gentoo-linux running version Amanda-2.4.4p2.
However, another host also runs Amanda-2.4.4p2 and is beiing backuped.

Can anybody tell me what's wrong.

Thanks,

Thomas
