hi,
I am having some trouble taking backups using amanda. amcheck says that
everything is fine but when I try using amdump, nothing happens. The
tape drive is on a P200 MMX machine running RedHat Linux 9.0. Kernel
version is 2.4.20-20.9.XFS1.3.1.
In the amdump log files, I see a message which says
"FloatingPointException". I have no idea what could possibly be causing
this.
The dumpcycle, runspercycle and tapecycle are 3 weeks, 9 and 9 tapes
respectively. The tape drive is Quantum DLT800. Below are the last few
lines from the amdump log file:
