amdump logs in a database

hello,
has anyone done anything with placing the amdump logs in a database?
what i'm looking to do is run reports on the data over time to look at
utilization stat's etc. which could be useful say when it comes time to
request funding for addition tape drives or libraries.
before i reinvent the wheel i figured i'd ask.
