Hi Ben
Thanx, I saw it. I downloaded the files, but didn't get a chance to try
it out. From the naming of the files I had the suspicion that it something
that will only work with Amanda 2.5.0 code base (that I don't have and don't
want to try and make it work). Is it really for 2.5.0 or will it work on
2.4.3?
Paolo

If your looking to backup windows client you can use this. It works great.
You'll have to download the utility from the windows resource kit to
install it as a service.
I don't have the compression working (not sure if it is supported or not
anyway) Also amcheck will give you a bogus error. Just ignore it.
Because there is no checking on the windows client side so it will give
an error.

Hi
I have a simple and straight question: Has anyone ever tried
to use Amanda under cygwin (as a client)? What was the result?
