I am trying to get amanda to connect to one of our servers thru a
firewall. I can get it to work on another server thru the firewall, but
I am having problems with one server. When I run the amcheck it checks
the host, no problems found. When I run the amdump I get a connection
error. I don't think it is a configuration error as I can connect to
another server on the same network outside the firewall and it works. I
have the same configuration running on both servers. No local firewall(
iptables/ipchains) are on either server. Why would amcheck run ok and
amdump not connect? Any Ideas? I have included the output of amcheck
and the email output from amdump.
Thanks
Joe Benson
