First off, process 4938 was dsmc schedule, not dsmcad.

Are you running the scheduler under CAD?  If so, review the CAD log, as well as 
dsmerror.log, for problem indications.
You can isolate when this started happening, via your client logs, and then 
correlate with the server log for further indications there. If any recent 
client options changes, review their viability.
