[ADSM-L] Lost in TSM licensing
2007-06-22 16:24:15
Hi all,
I have been trying to wade through the TSM licensing information to determine
which software I need to order to backup a Windows 2003 server as a client.
Some articles I read say that if the software is for a server, you need to
purchase the same software as if you were setting up a TSM server, that the
client license is only for desktops. The IBM website talks about TSM EE and
DR but does not mention this specifically. I have also heard that it depends
who you speak to at IBM that determines your answer. Can anyone help me
determine which product I need to order and what the difference is between
these? Thanks.
