I looked at the adsm archive before I wrote.  The domain does not exist
on the new server so it places the node in to the STANDARD domain.  I
also set up some pools for this domain to use.  Does it have to go into
the same domain?

Does the policy domain exist on the target server, with the
configuration behavior you want?

You haven't even shown the command you ran.  Awfully hard to help you.
