Delete file from node NT

We have a server TSM version 5.2.3.0.  This server between his clients has a
node Windows NT 4,0 with the client of installed version 5.1.7.0.

The question is if it is possible from another client with vesion 5,3,0,0 to
erase some archives of files them of the client with version 5.1.7.0,
without harming to the data integrity and the operation of the same one?
