TSM LAN-Free client on Linux RH -supported or not?

Hello!
Has anyone tried the TSM 5.2.x LAN-Free client on Red Hat 7/8/9 or any of
the
Fedora Core versions with success?
According to the "Linux x86 Client Requirements" page on ibm.com RH 7/8/9
is
supported but according to the latest README it is not. I am curious to
find
out if this is because there are real problems or if it is only a question
of
support.
