Unfortunately, they are all separate machines, with no shared disk.  Another
department handles cloning and setups, and the users would not know how to
configure windows backups anyway.  These are professors who only know how to
create 'word' documents, spreadsheets, read email with Eudora, and occasionally
use Matlab.
