shows trying to use shared memory connection
must be root to do that
might look for your dsmerror.log file, might also see a
ANS1475E Insufficient authority to connect to the shared memory region
in there...

Subject: Problem with TCP/IP
Hi all,
Recently our RS/6000 system took a dive. I had to reboot into
single user mode and fsck the filesystems. After doing so, I rebooted
and when I went to run ADSM with the command `dsm &`, I get the
following error:
ANS1473E Session Rejected: TCP/IP connection failure for Shared Memory
I have looked at the dsm.opt file, and there appears to be no error
with it, as well as the dsm.sys file. Except when I enter `netstat -n`
I see nothing running on ports 1500 or 1580.
I am stumped... any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
