An update Del. I thought I had it figured out but it still does not work. If
I do a show version like you suggested I see this:
SDC-04\Information Store : \data\0000\Private\ full (MC: DEFAULT)
Inactive, Inserted 02/12/2002 15:33:56, Deactivated 02/28/2002 01:00:53
ObjId: 0.123742376

ObjId: 0.124675749
SDC-04\Information Store : \data\0000\Private\ full (MC: DEFAULT)
Inactive, Inserted 03/01/2002 01:01:22, Deactivated 03/04/2002 01:00:25

SDC-04\Information Store : \data\0000\Private\ full (MC: DEFAULT)

ObjId: 0.126511371
As you can see the latest date is 02/12/2002.
The policy settings are such for this node:
Policy Policy Mgmt Copy Versions Versions Retain Retain
Domain Set Name Class Group Data Data Extra Only
Name Name Name Exists Deleted Versions Version
--------- --------- --------- --------- -------- -------- -------- -------
TDP-EXCH- ACTIVE TDP-V2-D- STANDARD No Limit 1 7 60
TDP-EXCH- ACTIVE TDP-V2-D- STANDARD No Limit 1 7 60
ANGE-V2 AILY
TDP-EXCH- ACTIVE TDP-V2-W- STANDARD No Limit 1 365 60
ANGE-V2 EEKLY
TDP-EXCH- TDP-EXCH- TDP-V2-D- STANDARD No Limit 1 7 60
ANGE-V2 ANGE-V2 AILY
TDP-EXCH- TDP-EXCH- TDP-V2-W- STANDARD No Limit 1 365 60
ANGE-V2 ANGE-V2 EEKLY
It should not be keeping more than 7 days worth and it's keeping a copy that
dates back to February 12th!
What bothers me is that it says in the backup (and during expiration) MC:
DEFAULT. Where does it get that from? The node is registered in the policy
domain TDP-EXCHANGE-V2. I added include statements in the option file to
specify the management class TDP-V2-DAILY. Where is it getting MC: DEFAULT
from???
I think it's time to call support. I have 45 copies totaling 405gb when the
most I should have is 7 totaling around 180gb. (my IS is 28gb so 7*28=182).
Thanks for your help. Once I find something out I will let you know.
