The process cannot access the file because it is being
used by another process.
ERROR_SHARING_VIOLATION
If you check your dsmsched.log it should tell you what file it couldn't
back up. Or, check the servers actlog at about the time the message was
generated and you'll probably see something like -
05/25/00 23:39:58 (Session: 28416, Node: SRV1) ANS4987E
Error processing '\\srv1\e$\MSSQL7\Data
\zipsdata.mdf': the object is in use by another
process
In this case, I'd exclude the file after checking with the sql dba to make
sure they are copying the database to a backup file.
