Bad idea - the Domino server will tend to open your nsf databases at least once
a day for reindexing, compacting, etc. Have a look at your servers data
directory and find out how many files don't have a recent access time.
The IBM Commonstore product would (appear from the press releases) to be a
better product for your environment. From memory I think it can HSM at the
document level.

Subject Lotus Notes + HSM on AIX
:
Hello,
we are thinking about using HSM to save some disk place for Lotus Notes
databases ( the old stuff, not so often accessed ).
Anyone have experience with this? Good/Bad? Can Lotus Notes work nicely
with HSM?
Thank you!
