You are exactly right, rebinding those files to a new mgmt class with
let's say one version would prevent having to perform a backup 20 times
if the original mgmt class was defined to hold 20 versions.
I wonder what would happen if you bound those files to a mgmt class
with zero versions! I have never done that. In theory I guess it should
work. Plus you wouldn't even have to change those files on the client,
when you back them up regularly they would be rebound to the new mgmt
class and they should be automatically kicked out of server storage
at least when expiration runs next.
Has anybody every tried this?
