Tape not acknowledging Audit command

Hi everyone,
I am running ADSM 3.1 on AIX 4.2.1 and trying to audit one of my IBM3570
multi-drive libraries.  I give it the Audit Libr command and it just sits
there.  It never does the audit.  There are no other processes running and
all the tapes are in their respective slots.  Any ideas why it ignores me?
