Since you are running a rather outdated server release (3.1.2.30 is the most current) I suggest you download the most current AIX server release from ftp://index.storsys.ibm.com/adsm/fixes/v3r1/aixsrv/LATEST.SERVICE The file is named U464970.BFF and you an use this on a 3466 (I'm doing it too).
