Hi all
I am currently in the process of designing an Enterprise storage
solution  with over 4TB of data storage requirements. The environment
has a number of both remote and local LAN's with a wide variety of
clients (Sun, AS/400, NT).I am proposing multiple RS/6000 nodes attached
to 3575 libraries. I need some help in determining the no/size of these
systems based on ADSM performance.

1. Are there any practical recommendations as to the number of
clients/data that one ADSM server can  manage without causing any
bottleneck at the ADSM server level

2. Has anybody out there implemented a network of this size (over 200
servers) using FC-AL. It is supposed to be a 100 MB/s but in reality,
how much throughput do we get.Has anybody used Gigabit ethernet?

Any successful implementation scenarios from folks out there would be
highly appreciated.
