Re: Informix ONBAR logical logs

Being unfamiliar with Informix, I am making an assumption that the
Informix logical log is equivalent to a Sybase transaction log, or an
Oracle redo log.
We currently dump our Sybase databases, and transaction logs to a local
jfs set up as dump space. The dumps are excluded from the daily backups
via the client options file. The dump areas are then archived daily,
and put in a management class that has an eight day retention period.
