Linux Clients causing Server Instability?

We are running ADSM Server version 3.1.1.5 on AIX 4.1.5 with 3590 drives and
the 3494 tape robot.

We have recently provided the 3.1 client to our PC clients, and have a
mixture of 2.1 and 3.1 clients in our system.  Our clients are mostly Windows
PCs as well as some Unix and Macintosh clients.

A couple of our students have downloaded the Linux client and are running the
following two configurations:

1)                    Platform: LINUX
               Client OS Level: Linux 2.0.34
                Client Version: Version 3, Release 1, Level 0.1

2)                    Platform: LINUX
               Client OS Level: Linux 2.1.131
                Client Version: Version 3, Release 1, Level 0.1

After running this ADSM server configuration for months, we started seeing
frequent server crashes.  I believe that I have found a correlation between
active Linux client sessions, and the crashes.  In particular, it looks like
client #2 can be fingered.

Has anybody seen anything similar?  I've disabled these two clients, to see
if our server stability returns.  Does anybody have numerous Linux clients
running in a stable environment?  If so, what versions of Linux and ADSM
client?
