The error is due to memory starvation on the client.
I don't know if it will help, but one parameter you can try in the options
file is:
MEMORYEFFICIENTBACKUP yes
Otherwise, you'll need to free up memory by shutting down applications or
turn compression off.
How much memory do you have on the client? What kind of client is it? What
else is running on the client? What are your settings for tcpbuffsize,
tcpwindowsize, and txnbytelimit?
