Dear Adsmers,

Is anyone aware of I/O errors on DLT7000 ?
please see below the description , and the answer of Quantum technical
support.
my question on the DLT tape Forum:
We currently use adsm V3 with STK9714, 4 DLT drives.
Since a month we are experiencing problems with
I/O operations, on several tapes, with several
      drives.
These drives never ask to be cleaned (There is a cleaning
cartridge inside the library. We did a clean from the
library control panel, but we are still having these errors
( that cancels our move data process)
      Sample of log error:
      10/26/1998 22:14:00 ANR8302E I/O error on drive DLT1 (MT1.0.0.2)
