Our ADSM system on the AS/400 seems to be going through some major problems.
Every tape it uses in the 3570-B12 returns the following messages:
Message ID . . . . . . : ANR7945 Severity . . . . . . . : 00
Message type . . . . . : Information
Date sent . . . . . . : 08/15/98 Time sent . . . . . . : 06:45:48
Message . . . . : ANR7808W OPEN TAPE GPU013 returned exception CPF4108.
This is a message from the ADSM console output. It was sent to the message
queue specified in the CONSMSGQ option of the ADSM options file.

If I run an audit on the tape, everything reports back that it is OK. ADSM has
been running fine for several months. Is this an ADSM problem or tape drive
problem?
Thanks for your help,
Don Burdette
