Subject: V3 Win32 client & Registry backup?


We are testing the ADSM V3 client for Win32 at 3.1.0.3, on WinNT 4.0.

I know there was a long thread a while back about the differences in the V3
GUI for Windows, but I don't remember this issue coming up.

Under the V2 client, if a user does an incremental backup on WinNT via the
GUI, the first thing that ADSM does is back up the registry.

With the V3 client, that appears not to happen in the GUI, though it still
happens when the incremental is done by the scheduler.

Is this a bug or a feature?  Are we doing something wrong?

The last thing I want is to have my WinNT workstation users install a bunch
of software and run a  backup, without backing up the registry...
