It has to do with the COMPRESSALWAYS client option *and* cached disk pools. 

When you use COMPRESSALWAYS=YES (default in V3), the client compresses the
file and sends it to the server event if the compression makes it grow (as
is the case of .ZIP files).

On the server side with caching for the disk pool enabled, the server frees
cache space based on the *original* size of the file. In some cases the size
of the compressed file is larger than the allocated space.

We can work around this by either disabling disk pool cache or using
COMPRESSALWAYS=NO.

IMHO, it would be useful to "fix" the cache free algoritm. I expect a lot of
people upgrading to V3 client to run into this error.
