Bill Colwells response to this was largely correct. Show commands have
been written over time for developement/service diagnostic purposes.
They don't go through any formal testing and are UN-SUPPORTED. On
occasion, if many people are using a given show command or we receive
enough formal requirements for one, we externalize it
as a well tested and supported Query command.
Use show commands at your own risk.
