I will admit I'm always happier reinstalling software cleanly; however...
I've tried a "copy" fo the ADSM installed directory tree from one machine
to another, and frankly, things worked quite well!

I'd probably think of doing the first install under NT, and then running
the installed application from Win '95; at a minimum, the command line
utilities should have no problems at all. I had recently tried (as an
expirement) installing ADSM 2.1.6 on a WIndows/NT 3.1 Advanced Server (yes,
we still have a few kicking around). The InstallShield program didn't work
at all, however, I found that if I copied the ADSM directories over to it,
I could run any of the command line utilites quite nicely; GUI though was a
different matter! <grin>
