This from the file sgi.v2r1m6.IP20995.README for the latest (2.1.06)
client:
o SYSTEM
~~~~~~
This package runs on the IRIX Operating System Version
5.2. Version 5.3 and IRIX 6.2 are also supported,
except for the feature provided by the XFS file system
allowing file system sizes larger than 2 GByte and file
sizes larger than 2 GByte.
It appears in none of the README files for earlier releases of this
client. I *hope* it is just a badly expressed statement that file
sizes larger than 2 GB are not handled by ADSM, not that file
systems greater than 2 GB cannot be handled.
For example, a subset of query filespace output at this site shows
Node Name Filespace Platform Filespace Capacity %Util
Not a happy picture if the above README statement is fact telling
us the truth.
