It sounds like ADSM is picking up the 1553 as a DDS-1 cartridge, if so you'll
have
to tell the syste
m that the drive format is DDS2c, I forget exactly how to do it
but it's in the documentation. I believe it's something like
UPDATE DRIVE xxx FORMAT=DDS2c
