What kind of tape units you are using for incremental backup and
EXPORT.
We plan to have RS/6000 as a ADSM server. SunOS, AIX, and PC
stations will be our ADSM clients.
At beginning of this project we will backup up to 20 clients, mostly
Sybase data bases on UNIX stations. In future number of clients
will grow.
We plan to run incremental backup daily and those tapes will stay in
data center. Saturday we plan to run EXPORT and those tapes will be
send out to off-site storage for disaster-recovery.
