This seems a bit of a stretch.  From some FTP benchmarks concluding that
TCP/IP is generally slower on VM.  I can see how you might conclude that
FTP is slower but to conclude the whole product suite is slower... Is
this really what you intended to say?

CMS 8 (7 too? we skipped that one) and later are multitasking.  But if
the products haven't been written to take advantage of this ...
