Hi everyone,
I've privately noted to Brett Walker some comments and questions on the Mac
client, most of which are echoed on the list (memory usage), although I do
wonder about clicking the close box on the ADSM Scheduler window quitting the
entire application...
The nice things about the Mac is that everyone in that world uses the same TCP
protocol stack. Not so with the PeeCee... so my question:
Does anyone have any ideas on getting the Windows client to work with Sun
PC/NFS? We got the product loaded, and found that supplying the server IP
address in the opt file caused an "invalid host name" error; supplying the host
name of the server eliminated the error, but the client process hangs. NETSTAT
on CMS shows the session "established" with one byte sent and one byte
received...
I'm really more of a Mac person (and more so a VM person), so I'm not able to
hack at this to any great degree... but the user was very interested in running
the client, so we're up for some experimentation if you've any pointers.
Many, many thanks to IBM and everyone for their help and being on this list!
