You need to use the -FROMNODE option of the RETREIVE or RESTORE command. here's an example we use when restoring production archives onto our test box. dsmc ret -fromd=05/17/2000 -pick -replace=no -s

Hello Toni Check the server logs around the time of the restore. You might have had problems mounting the tape required for the restore. Either a fatal i/o error, or no drives available, etc. len
