Well try the move drmedia to courier state and leave the volume offsite, if you want to reuse the physical tape, it would have to be relabled using the overwrite option. The only way to really clear

Sean, What error is message is generated when you try to do this? What commands are you issuing? Can you show an output of q vol XXXX or q drmedia XXXX ? All of these things would be very helpful in
