Sudha,

I think you can create a new smart-set for these two hosts and add the name the newly created smart set into the servmon.conf.

This would probably resolve your problem.

Thanks and Regards

Senny

Subject: [NV-L] TCP Port monitoring for particular hosts

Hi,

I'm trying to monitor my application through port monitoring of netview. My application runs in port 8080.

So i added an entry in servmon.conf file like this

isService_Remedy|8080 Remedy|Remedy|Remedy|||*|5

But, Netview tries to scan all my network/servers and add the servers which has port 8080.

I want to monitor the port 8080 for only two hosts say 10.16.32.11 and 10.18.32.1

Any inputs is highly appreciated.

thnx

Sudha
